1. Grouping of the waste into 4 categories:
2. organic for fish food
3. organic for composting
4. marketable (can be sold again)
5. rest (picked up by DK3 to landfill)
6. Conducting socialization about waste to society
7. Composting program should be considered to be implemented, combined with other program
8. Waste plastic bag/bin should have special symbol
9. Conducting a counseling regarding waste management to society for the succeed of the program
10. The three kinds of waste above (point a to point c) need to be finally aimed into waste bank
11. Field day is the final day where people can apply waste management by their own
12. Waste separation from the source (household) is the best way
13. Plastic bag can be new problem (new waste). Need to find another material such as plastic bin or similar
14. Waste Collecting Point is needed to be considered, without supervise, anybody can throw any kinds of garbage into it
15. We would need to have special team to monitor and supervise the waste separation activity
16. Waste of garden (planting) can also be new problem
17. Special material/bin for certain kind of waste
18. Society deliver their own garbage to Tsunami Escape Building
19. The non organic waste (residue) will be picked up by DK3
20. For waste bank program, we would need to have special schedule for waste bank program, e.g: each Sunday morning, the villagers bring the certain waste (plastic, carton etc) to Tsunami Escape Building or another place
21. The profit from purchased household waste in waste bank office will be addressed for operational cost of waste bank
22. In FGD II, method of waste separation is introduced to society
23. We would need to conduct the FGD at least twice, in order the society can understand and practice well the waste separation method
24. We would need facilitator to persuade the society to separate the waste (active counseling
25. Targeting women for this separation program.
26. We would need to discuss with head of village, who can be the right person of the program
27. Material/waste bin for separating waste has to be showed and prepared in the next FGD
28. We would need to have active monitoring for the program in society
29. Regarding the Waste Collecting Point, we should discuss it with BPBD further
30. Perhaps pre-socialization of the program can be conducted by CoMU team
31. DK3 plays role in the technical socialization
32. In the FGD III, researcher will introduce the technical method of research, and DK3 introduces the composting and waste bank program. This means, in FGD III we will apply more technical approach (starting action).
